As the General Manager and a Director of Australian Diversified Engineering (ADE) I would like to welcome you to our first newsletter for 2019.
Although it has been a while since our last news bulletin, the construction and mining industry has been as active as ever, and ADE, like many other businesses, has been flat out meeting the growing demands of our valued customers.
For those new to our story, ADE was founded in Brisbane in 1989, and we are now in our 30th year of operation and also in our 9th year at our Aspley facility, where our dedicated team can provide a total in-house solution from concept through to design, fabrication, and installation for those in the mining and earthmoving industries.
A lot has happened over the last 18 months; we have worked tirelessly to innovate and produce new products such as the ADE Cannon which is a newly designed product solution in response to the many requests we have had from mine sites. This heavy-duty water cannon incorporates a stainless steel body and comes complete with fully sealed swivel bearings that require absolutely no servicing. The design has already proven over the past 18 months to work successfully on several mines in the Bowen Basin.
Alongside the Spray System, ADE has also developed an app called 'Friction Plus by ADE', enabling miners to measure haul road friction using their Apple devices.
This year, ADE will be participating in the 2019 Road Boss Rally, raising much needed funds for those in need. This is a charity motoring event and 100% of the funds raised this year will be donated to GIVIT. I will be leading a team from ADE in a VY Holden Crewman Cross 8.
