Grove GMK-5220 All-terrain Crane Access System

Description
Platforms fitted to both sides of the crane superstructure for improved access to both the crane operator cab and crane engine module. Platforms stowed in vertical position for transport. When needed, each platform unfolds to the horizontal position at the press of a button. Carrier deck handrails raise and lower independently at the push of a button. An excellent solution for working at height issues.

Control
Push button controls located on both sides at front of carrier and in the crane cab. "Dead Man" switch function for optimum operator control and safety.

Safe access
Provides safe access and egress for operation and maintenance (for the crane driver and riggers as well as maintenance crews).

Hydraulic operation
Four stage solid state hydraulic sequencing - easy and simple.

Safety Functions
Electrical and hydraulic safety interlocks to prevent inadvertent operation.

Standards Conformance
Designed in accordance with AS 1657 and AS 3868.
